Sharing is caring!

These are just fun to share. They bring me an odd joy. This A Gutsy Girl’s Favorites Issue 18 is no exception.

I’m always on the hunt for new and inspiring things. And I’m not only talking about from a gut health or healing standpoint.

I am just talking about life. A 24/7 life lived in the gut-healing bubble can be exhausting. You need a break, and if you don’t take a break from the constant reading, learning, researching, doctor-ing, etc. you will crack.

Remember, this is a marathon. It’s not a sprint.

Okay, so let’s play today.

  1. PaleOMG Power Program

In full disclosure, I have put this program on pause because I returned to my gym workouts. When the gym re-opened, I pretty much ran back. No, I don’t need it for any reason other than that I wanted to be around people and my workout friends again. That said, this program she created is awesome. I have done several of the workouts, and have learned so many new “moves.” I’ve even brought some along to the gym for our workouts. The program is awesome because you need minimal time and equipment. No incentive for me if you purchase, but if you want to learn more, check it out HERE.

  2. Low-FODMAP, Vegan, Organic Protein Powder

Yes, all of those things. I’ve already written about this new gem I found HERE, but I continue to use it almost daily. I’m wanting to create a new Seed Cycling Ball using it. What do you think of that idea? Speaking of supplements from Perfect Supplements, the company is a favorite as a whole. They offer so much HERE. I have and use a ton of things from them. 3. In the Flo

Last week in school, we studied the Gut-Thyroid Connection. I’m kind of obsessed with it. The correlation and connection is real. Anyways, I’ve always wanted to explore my own cycle and hormones even more. Full transparency; I have a perfect 28-30 day cycle. And the amount of cramping is minimal compared to the past. However, that doesn’t mean that I have it all figured out. I’m wanting to learn as much as I can. So I purchased, “In the FLO: Unlock Your Hormonal Advantage and Revolutionize Your Life.” Holy full of awesome information. I strongly recommend for all my darling friend.

  4. Leaky Gut Meal Plan

And speaking of books, this is actually a favorite currently. Yes, it’s also my book. But I put this on my favorites list because it takes a lot more effort for someone to write a positive review than a negative one. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about, but people are far more likely to express frustration and negativity vs. share a positive book experience. Anyways, when I checked today, the book currently has been reviewed 81 times and maintains a 4.6 out of 5 stars. And listen, when you leave a review for The Leaky Gut Meal Plan book HERE, it truly helps me more than you know. So thank you!

  5. Nubocha Dairy-Free Gelato

Nubocha reached out, asking if they could send me some product. I can’t count the number of brands who do this; I rarely agree. But a dairy-free gelato? Take me back to Italy already. I was amazed at the ingredients, so I agreed. While the products do contain emulsifiers, those emulsifiers do not bother me. See the full ingredient panels HERE. And for the record, the Salted Caramel was so incredible; by far my personal favorite!

  6. #AGG100DaysofSummerHealing

In case you missed the memo, summer 2020 began on Saturday. To commence the season, I launched 100 Days of Summer Healing. Don’t think I ask you to do some big challenge without joining in, too. Of course I’m doing it. I have a daily activity set revolving around “eat. play. love.” Do you remember when I used to talk about those three things all the time on A Gutsy Girl? Yeah, I still believe in the power of them.

  7. Mattifying powder

How long have I been living under a rock? A very long time. That’s the answer. By now, you use a matte powder. But up until a few weeks ago, I never have. Kind of makes sense now after using it a few weeks why everyone does. Anyways, I bought THIS ONE from Beautycounter. And it’s incredible. It’s so smooth and translucent. Because I’m guessing you already have and use this, maybe just consider trying the Beautycounter one when you run out of the current.

  8. Suntella

Just got 3 more jars of this. This sugar-free, chocolate spread is so dang good. And it’s Keto, diabetic, candida, paleo, vegan, low-carb, and low-sugar friendly. I realize there are many things to make using it (i.e. the Vegan, Frozen Hot Chocolate) and/or to pair with it (i.e. apple slices), but 90% of the time I just eat it by the spoonful.
