It’s really something when the skirt fits. Let me explain.
I have given full permission to unbutton those pants.
That will never change in my rule book.
But do you remember what I said at the end of the post?
Go ahead. Unbutton those pants. But in the process, make the changes that will warrant never having to unbutton them again.
When the Skirt Fits
This weekend, as I was perusing my Instagram stream, I stumbled upon this….
The caption stated….
This skirt has been hanging in my closet for 5 years as a goal. Now, it fits.
With her permission, I’m sharing this with all of you today.
That’s my client Heather.
She continued to say, “I’m so proud. Thanks for the real tools. Today is a big day for me. I’m standing in my closet crying. :-)”
Here’s the thing, it really doesn’t matter if you’re a size 0 or a size 20. When you have a miserable gut and bloating problems, no skirt will fit and no size will make you feel sexy. If you don’t believe me, you probably don’t have now or have never experienced this misery.
If you’re not motivated by healing your gut, chances are you are motivated by losing inches, dropping pounds and fitting into old clothes.
I need to be very clear: I do not promote a WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM.
I help my clients heal their guts.
Sometimes this means weight loss.
Sometimes it means weight gain (yes, for some, this is absolutely what they need). (<- more on both of those later because there is so much to them.)
But it always means….(Note: and by “always” I mean only with those who want to change and put in the work and time.)
When the skirt fits, it finally fits.
You go, Heather!
