This is a place for all the Gotcha Day Videos I have made for our children.
The road from that very first call to final adoption is a long road. Celebrating Gotcha Day is a huge event. To help celebrate it, because we never show full pictures of our children prior to the day, I create videos. {For the record, if you adopt children as well, I’d highly recommend doing this, too. I watch these every so often, and I am so thankful I took the time to create them.}

Samarah’s Gotcha Day: July 10, 2015
Meet Samarah Josephina Hoffman.
I created a video that begins with the very first day we got Samarah. The first picture is of her in a car seat doing a breathing test before she could leave the NICU.
This first video goes up until about May 2014.
We really love Winnie the Poo, and it was the theme for her first birthday.
This second video is from about May 2014 – November 2014.
The last video is from about holiday season of 2014 to current. The song is, “When You Walked Into My Life,” by Lila McCann, which was our wedding song. It’s perfect for our journey with Samarah, and so we ended with it.
Isaiah’s Gotcha Day: June 13, 2016
We only had Isaiah a little over 3 months before his adoption finalized. Yes, fastest foster-to-adopt ever! And yet, still, so much happened during those few short months.
Amiya’s Gotcha Day: September 22, 2017
We had Amiya for almost a year before her adoption finalized.
