Seven Layer Casserole

A Seven Layer Casserole that's perfect for a simple, complete meal for the whole family.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup uncooked organic white rice
  • 1 cup whole kernel organic corn, drained
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cans (8 oz.) organic tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup green/red bell pepper
  • 1 lb. uncooked organic ground turkey
  • ½ can water
  • 4 strips bacon or turkey bacon, cut in halves
Instructions
  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
  2. Layer rice in pan; cover with corn and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Pour over all 1 can tomato sauce, water, onion, pepper, ground turkey.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour over all the second can of tomato sauce and water.
  6. Cover meat with bacon.
  7. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Uncover and bake about 30 minutes longer until bacon is crisp.
