Tuna Melt Buns {Gluten, Dairy and Egg Free}

A tuna melt full of flavor, but without gluten, grains, dairy, soy or eggs.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Pre-"grease" the sandwich cookie pan with a little coconut oil.
  3. Place flaxseed, chia seed and water in a small bowl. Stir, and set aside for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the rest of the ingredients in a food processor.
  5. Add the flaxseed + chia seed mixture after about 5 minutes (when it has formed a gel-like consistency).
  6. Mix all ingredients together in the food processor until completely blended together.
  7. Transfer mix to the sandwich cookie pan, filling them about ¾ full, and smoothing the tops as best you can.
  8. Bake for about 12-14 minutes (mine took 13 minutes).
  9. Cool, and set aside.
